Wow, sweet, the rankings for Choke Hold are awesome . . . (thanks to Donna for keeping us updated)
#1,055 Amazon.com Overall Sales Rank
#2 in Books > Literature & Fiction > Genre Fiction > Men's Adventure
#8 in Books > Literature & Fiction > Genre Fiction > Action & Adventure
#12 in Books > Science Fiction & Fantasy > Science Fiction > Adventure
This seems to me that Remo & Chiun are really back in business. And maybe I don't know anything about publishing, but I just don't remember the GE Destroyers hitting these kind of numbers. Looks like M&M and TOR might have themselves a winning conbination here.
Time for Warren to splurge and go buy that case of Pathmark Gin.
Maybe Mullaney could put this stuff more into context (maybe he doesn't care to). But to these eyes, it certainly looks like we're seeing the rebirth of The Destroyer as a major player in the world of fiction. (Hopefully TOR's accountants, with their coke-bottle glasses, are seeing it the same way.)
Don't get me wrong. I really don't care much about this sales stuff . . . only insomuch as it allows The Destroyer to stick around for future generations. I am no accountant.
But like I once told Warren in an email: keep your talk about "viking funerals" between you and your bartender. Us fans don't want to hear it. There will be no viking funerals if I have anything to say about it.
Anyway, it's sure nice to see the good guys win for a change. Keep it up, boys!
