I, being a Master, trainer, & part time owner myself, have noticed on several occations, bits & pieces of the very beautiful world of D/s used in the Destroyer series. I'm wondering if this is because you, as a writer seeking to reach as many people as possible, incorporated this style of life just for those that live it or if you yourself wanted to offer a bit of your own experience to your readers & learn if they might have an intrest as well.
I wonder if I'm inline for some prize for the longest sentance ever written.
I've loved your books since April 1974 - please don't allow them to end.

WOW, I can't believe it - 110 views & not a single reply.
Come on people, you must have something to say.

Hi Falcon,
I might be a little dense (In fact I KNOW I'm a little dense!), but I'm not sure I understand the question. Maybe rephrase it? It almost sounds like you referring to the Dom/sub lifestyle. In which case I don't see your point/question as being accurate. Or I misunderstand...
Thanks,
Brian |

W Brian, Hello & ty for reading & replying.
As it turns out, you are correct.
My posting is concerning Dom/sub - D/s - Master/slave - BDSM.
Yes, all those terrible things everyone has read about in that book - The Marque DeSade.
Although this site is not setup for discussions on this topic, I first posted this topic as a question rather than a topic for discussion.
My question was this, was Warren's reasoning for including bits & pieces of the D/s realm because he wished to reach that community or was it to let his readers know he himself has working knowledge of this lifestyle.
There was also one other possibility I did not mention - to learn if the majority of readers wished more writings along these lines.
I hope this clears up any questions you have - if not, please ask again.

Phil,
I agree that sunshine is very nice, but I really don't see how you can compare the two - kinda like comparing apples & elephants - both are good, but nothing alike.

It is a quote from a Destroyer book. Maybe you haven't read that one.

Hello Dale,
I know for ertain that I have indeed read that one & thank you for reminding me of it. I don't recall which one it was - I'm thinking it was numbered somewhere in the 80's.

It comes from #11, Kill or Cure. It was a campaign slogan used by mayoral candidate Mac Polaney.

Thank you Dale, I was quite surprised that it was from so early a book.
Perhaps thats because I began to read the series for the 3rd time only 3 years ago.
Again, thank you.

Well, it seems my origional question has been found to be out of place here.
For that I do appologize.
I shall remain a faithful reader until the end of my days, or the Destroyers.
Thank you for your time.
